Foot orthotics are not guaranteed to work. You
could end up spending your money and losing
your money. It is importand to do a gait
analysis and to correlate this with a static
exam so as to allow the orthotics lab the
knowledge needed to modify the positive cast
of your foot in order to fabricate a foot orthotic
for your biomechanical fault.
If you cannot afford to pay more than $200 for
a custom molded orthotic please consider the
casting fee of $75 and that the lab and postage
costs approximately from $90 to $125.
Insurance does not usually cover orthotics, so
why make a profit on marking up the price of
the device more than it costs me if someone
has financial difficulty in todays tough
economic climate.
Foot orthotics sometimes can take at least
3 weeks to get back from the lab. I trust and
use STJ labs.
